User guide
A short walkthrough of running a race from the admin panel — from signing in and starting competitors to recording and editing results.
1
Signing in
Open the admin panel at your RaceHub address — e.g. race-hub.org/admin/ — and enter your credentials. The dashboard appears right after you sign in.
2
Starting the race
Before every race you need to start the competitors:
- The Competitors menu holds the list of all participants.
- If a competitor has a start number, click Start.
- If they have no start number, type it into the table and save — the competitor is started automatically.
Useful tips
- Use the filters to find competitors faster.
- If you cannot find a name, try swapping the surname and the first name.
3
Recording results
Use the Finish line screen:
- Available on phones and laptops.
- Enter the start number and click Finish.
- The system works without an internet connection; data syncs automatically as soon as the connection is back. Loading the Finish line screen needs an internet connection, but once it is loaded no further connection is required. Load it only after every competitor has been entered into the system.
Note
- Wrong entries can be undone with Undo.
- If the race did not start at the scheduled time, contact the administrator to adjust the start time.
- The Finish line screen works best on a phone (the recommended setup). In cold weather, with gloves on, a laptop can be the more practical option.
4
Editing results
- Mark competitors who did not finish as DNF under the Results menu.
- Individual results can be corrected by entering the exact finish time.
Note
You enter the finish time, not the total duration.
