Competitor questions

Entering, changing your entry, paying, and finding your result — everything that comes up once you have signed up.

Entering a race

Open the race list, pick a race and click Register. Fill in the form and you are done — a confirmation goes to the e-mail address you entered.

If the organizer set a deadline it holds to the minute and is shown on the race page. With no deadline, entries stay open through the whole race day, and for a league until its last round has been run.

Open the Registered tab on the race page — the list is public and updates as soon as an entry is made.

The organizer assigns start numbers, usually shortly before the race, so there is none at the moment you enter. Once assigned, it shows on the entry list.

Changing your entry

The confirmation e-mail carries an Edit your entry link. Open it and the form comes up filled in with your details.

On that race's signup page, in the Already entered? panel, click Edit your entry and give the e-mail address you signed up with. A fresh link is sent to that address — and only there.

A link is good for one save. The moment you save, it stops working — so an old message left in an inbox is not a standing key to your entry. Just ask for a new link when you want to change something again.

Your e-mail address (the link was sent there, which is what proves the entry is yours), the race or league you entered, and any paid option once the payment has been recorded. Ask the organizer for those.

Entry fee and payment

In the confirmation e-mail, together with a 2D barcode you can scan in your banking app. You can pull the same details up again on the race's signup page under Payment details. This only applies to races where the organizer collects the fee by bank transfer.

The race fee plus every surcharged option you picked (bus transfer, for instance). The exact amount is written out in the confirmation e-mail and encoded in the barcode.

That is expected — payments are not recorded at the moment they are made. The organizer imports them from a bank statement, so some time passes in between. For a payment to match your entry on its own the amount has to be exact and the reference number unchanged — if either was different, contact the organizer.

If the change moves the amount and you have not paid yet, a new e-mail arrives with the corrected amount and a fresh barcode. Pay by the new one — the old barcode carries the old amount, which would then not match.

Results and leagues

On the race page, under Results. Times are entered as the race runs, so the list grows live; the final standings settle once the organizer closes the timing. Every race is on the race list.

Points are awarded by placing in each round, under the rules the league organizer sets. How many rounds count, and any bonuses, are described on the league's own page.

Results and categories are kept by the race organizer, not by RaceHub, so only they can correct one. The organizer's contact is on the race page.
